Acid Flushing

The thermal performance of heat transfer rolls may degrade over time.

Acid flushing is the process of heating and cooling liquids will chemically react with the roll to create deposits and masses of corrosion.

These deposits and masses will create blockages within the roller and decrease flowrates, hence causing the roller to lose thermal conductivity.

Acid flushing breaks down and flushes out the internal deposits to improve flowrates and improve thermal conductivity.
