Updating and editing the customer contact database. Preparation and implementation of advertising mailings using email and the U.S. Post Office. Customer service duties such as responding to inquiries, communicating progress of orders and follow-up after product has shipped. Preparation and emailing of customer satisfaction surveys. Compose, type, proofread, and edit correspondence and reports. Assist in creating marketing literature, creative tactics to communicate and promote products. Shop Foreman

Essential Functions: Represent working Shop Supervisor on assigned shift; assure that shift workers are working, work is flowing and proper resources are deployed to assure that schedules are being met. Troubleshoot and manage any interruptions or deterrents to production. Operate and maintain all manual and CNC shop equipment to produce parts as directed. Machine parts and assemble products as directed. Inspect machined parts to ensure they meet tolerance specifications. Document and maintain inspection reports, material specifications and other documents for all manufactured parts. Write and modify programs and program the machine control as required. Edit programs at machine as required. Perform basic troubleshooting and machine maintenance – repair or make new parts for existing machinery. Participate in the hiring, training and disciplining of new and existing employees. Provide training and guidance to less experienced workers. • Work needed hours to complete jobs and meet customer deadlines. Work with office personnel to ship completed job orders. Must manage and control all incoming and outgoing, packlists, bill of ladings, and paperwork. Check incoming materials against invoices and notify purchasing and supervision of defective materials or shortages. Check invoice against purchase orders and bills of material for accuracy. Inspects incoming materials parts. Accurately receives goods. Works with Administrative Assistant to ship job and retrieve all related job drawings, inspection reports, & job travelers from the shop floor Can use E-drawings to locate pertinent job information. Mechanical Design Engineer

More specifically, this position will review customer documentation/specifications, determine/confirm design requirements, produce CAD manufacturing drawings, and be involved in helping oversee the manufacturing process.
